Easy A

September 29

-wildberry buckwheat waffle with an organic veggie sausage on top

Fastest thing I could make and grab. Kind of bland, but better than nothing.

-black hot citrus tea (I forgot I drank this, thanks pic for the reminder lol)

We had a work visitor!

Cliiiide!

-packet of chocolate hazelnut butter with almond thins

Super good. I shamelessly tore the packet open and licked it clean. Justin's, you have redeemed yourself.

For lunch I brought a forgotten frozen meal, but it was HORRIBLE. 2 bites in and into the trash it went. Yuck. I didn't realize you could mess up italian food so badly.

doesn't exactly look like the box...

Left work early (when don't I lately?), picked up REAL FOOD, and went shopping while my Mom had her hair done. I got some more doggie pj's, books, children's dvds, among other things. Yay for wasting money on good deals.

-side greek salad sans dressing (because they didn't give me any, wtf oversight...they also forgot my mom's side item)
-medium black coffee (3/4 hazelnut, 1/4 dark roast)

What I really wanted was a Starbucks (when don't I?) and told myself not to order Panera coffee. So when I was asked what I wanted to drink what did I say? Coffee, naturally. Oh, me. It was good though.

-single serving pack of sabra roasted red pepper hummus & pretzel crisps

-cup of french onion soup

-part of an iced tea
-about 85% of a sam adams octoberfest beer

Once again, grazing allll day. Oops.

-chopped salad
-water with lemon

Went to the movie grill with my friend Melissa. We saw Easy A. It was pretty good!

-chocolate vitatop, vanilla ice cream, chocolate almond spread, cinnnnnamon

OMG so good. The almond butter makes it that much more delightful. I want another bowl. Stat.

The 3,000 Calorie Day

September 28

That is calories BURNED not consumed. ;)

Workout:

-32 minutes cross ramp

-sweet potato wafflewich with omega-enhanced better 'n eggs, organic veggie sausage, & maple syrup
-extra sweet potato waffle with chocolate almond butter
-a few organic strawberries & pineapple chunks (ew chunks is not a word that should be used to describe food)
-hazelnut iced coffee made with almond milk

my bad, had the toaster on a little too high

Yeah, my eyes were way bigger than my stomach. The waffles are technically 3 to a serving, so I thought I'd give it a try to try to fuel myself for an even longer than usual time. But nope, no go. I'll finish it later. I should have realized, considering I've been bragging that the wafflewich & fruit alone has been powering me through the entire morning and afternoon, but whatevs.

-finished most of the rest (my Mom stole some fruit)

I was looking at my blog entry from last week & saw the pei wei and it sounded really good to have for lunch again...

-ginger broccoli shrimp & tofu with brown rice
-grande soy pumpkin spice misto

Eh, the Pei Wei was not as good this time. And the Starbucks guy was SO frazzled. I ordered a venti, he gave me a grande. And he almost made it with 2% dairy milk before I reminded him it was soy.

-the rest of the ginger broccoli blah blah
-water

Kendyll drove us to Target

To buy big girl pj's!

I think she liked the final decisions...

Time to go home!

Mmm, wa-wa

Ahhh, toofbrushes feel so good on growing girl teeth!

Being silly with Manda

Ababababababaaaaa

Reesie loves me too :)

But all good times must come to an end, time to go home ourselves!

But first...

-small vanilla cone a la Dairy Queen

Yummy.

-little piece of brown bread leftover from my mom or brother's takeout Cheesecake Factory (luckies!!)
-2 feta artichoke fritters on top of organic greens, organic cherry tomatoes, with a little light all natural ranch
-water

My mom semi-impulsively decided to have some handymen we know pull up all of our floors tomorrow, so I spent a couple hours packing stuff up in my room to help them out a little. Between that, working out, & Kendyll time I burned mad cals.

Teething Sucks!

September 27

I need to find better time management skills to not only blog on weekends. I know all the catch up has got to be a little annoying.

Workout:

-5 min treadmill
-arms & legs
-5 min treadmill

-blueberry frosted organic toaster pastry
-about 1/2-3/4 a mug of organic green tea with peppermint stevia

My stomach still hurt from yesterday, so nothing really sounded good. I was gonna get Starbucks, but nixed that idea.

But, of course, when I had to leave and it was too late to get food, I got hungry. Oh well.

I had to watch Kendyll (by myself, for the first time *gasp*) for an hour while my cousin was in an appointment. The waiting room was not really a good place to watch a kid. At all. So after we got bored with our Sesame Street books and ate all the veggie straws out of the snack pack we went outside to dance and listen to Sesame Street and other kid songs on Pandora.

We had fun, as fun as 2 restless people can, but man are babies heavier than they appear! I mean, I hold her every day, but I was reluctant to let her walk outside by herself, so I held her and bounced her in my arms for probably half an hour. I should probably be extra buff on my left side now :-P.

she LOVED these froggies outside of the flower shop next door. We had to keep staring at them for like 20 minutes off & on, lol.

THEN, I got fooood. Whole Foods!

-half of a tuna cranberry salad sandwich
-a small portion of indian from the hot bar (tofu madras & chana masala)

The indian food was cold-ish and the chick peas were slightly underdone (boo!), but otherwise it was all muy bueno.

Then back to Miss Princess for the afternoon!

LOL love her faces
dancing machine!

As you can see, we had fun, fun, fun!

And enjoyed NaNa's chicken & d's! (pssst, both Kendyll and I prefer the dumplings)

& I had iced tea

My Mom isn't much of a cook (not to say that she CAN'T cook, b/c when she does it's tasty stuff, she's just lazy when it comes to preparing food), but her chicken & dumplings are the most simple, yet amazing things EVAR.

But the fun stopped after the little lady went down for her nap. She's teething BIG TIME, and seems to be going through crazy growth spurts in her sleep. She woke up from her nap SCREAMING and crying. Something she NEVER does. :( She was kind of red and blotchy and her body temp felt warm. Poor baby!

Snuggles helped a little, but she was not feeling so good.

I didn't really eat dinner-dinner (I had the c&d's around 5-something), so I just kinda snacked around 9 pm or so. I was hungry, but not enough for a meal.

-curry tofu egg roll

Shortly after...

-small bowl of maple buckwheat cereal in almond milk

Yeah, that cereal was not necessary. Whatever. I had made roasted potatoes for the next day & decided to have a small portion over a fried egg, but the potatoes turned out kinda gross. I put too much cayenne pepper on them & they just tasted off to me. IDK. My Dad liked them, so more for him. I then realized I didn't really neeeeed food, but by then I'd already poured the cereal. Didn't mean I was locked in to eating it, but ya know...

Just kinda grazed all day. Kendyll also fed me bites of her snacks lol.
